Purpose

PVS HOFU setup and maintenance functions derived from solve table creation to aid production on build specifications. Includes solve table additions and modifications in line with PDL changes.
PVS part number broadcasting to sub-assemblies areas, warehouse and Incubation Centre for MP&L line supply functions and build to specifications. Includes solve table additions and modifications in line with WERS changes.
PVS vehicle tracking and reporting for production plant reporting support. VMACS and CMMS3 updates for vehicle tracking and parts call-off.
Schedule vehicle for Bodyshop build inception in line with sequence files and constraints.
Maintain stop load program control in line with MP&L or TMF constraints as well as chassis part number availability. No load of units to Trim lines with unsupported parts.
Further department goals and support team in terms of analysis of the problem by means of Excel macros and tools to streamline business.
Support Out of Paint area so that flow of vehicles to trim lines is unhindered. If and when issues occur, liaise with Maintenance/IT department in case escalation is needed.
Translate Mazda imports into local model codes and forward to marketing for submittal in SVD system.

Qualification

Industrial/Computer Systems Engineering Degree/BTech.
Approximately 3 years.
Ability to use Excel/Access and macro’s (VB)
Understand PVS and MOVIS
Ability to understand coding techniques
Working knowledge of paint shop environment
Computer software learning capabilities
Willing to go the extra mile
Problem solving skills
Ability to work within a team and to support the group effort
