Purpose
You will be responsible for the culture transformation programs at Kolomela Mine. The facilitation, acquiring or coordination of learning interventions or programmes to address company needs. The assurance of a competent workforce that will enable Kumba Iron Ore to achieve its strategic business objectives and ensuring identified needs are addressed by means of the implementation of projects. You will be responsible to run the full spectrum of the training centre on the mine which include but not limited to the following: Skills training, Management training and Functional training (Mining, Plant and Engineering). Organisational development will include leadership development, culture development and management training. Manage and monitor financial planning and expenditure to maximise KIO’s ROI and utilisation and deployment of human resources to maximise personal and organisational benefit. Ensure the existence of a safe and healthy work environment where workers can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment. Work ethics must be of such a nature that workers continuously strive towards improving their own performance. You must adherence to all safety and health standards and promote good housekeeping on an ongoing basis.
Qualification
You must have a B- Degree in Industrial Psychology or B Degree in Human Resource Management, preference will be given to applicants with a Honors degree, you must have at least 8 years Training and Organisational Development experience (functional training, skills training, management training, leadership and management development) of which 4 years must have been in a managerial position, you also need a valid driver’s license.
You will be required to pass a medical fitness certificate in order to be considered for this position. Applicants may also be subjected to physical testing when going for the medical fitness certificate.
