Purpose
To provide full sales, customer interaction and business partner interaction support to the VAF Portfolio Sales Manager, in the execution of sales in the chosen segments and channels, in order to achieve the desired targets and manage effective internal and external relationships.
Qualification
Develops and maintains close business relationships with internal and external customers and maintains a high standard and quality of business
Facilitates the overall sales process through the value chain, particularly Credit and operational (IPC) processes.
Gathers and submits information about competitor activity and market developments to the VAF Portfolio Sales Manager and/or VAF leadership.
Ensures that business potential is identified and developed
Supports the VAF Portfolio Sales Manager in the attainment of new business targets
Engages in “deal-making” with Credit, IPC and the customer (i.e., secures the ‘deal’, manages the application process and sells to the customer).
Minimum working experience: 5 to 8 years
3 to 5 years’ asset finance experience
Matriculation (with Accounting and/or Mathematics as subjects)
Knowledge of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS).
Good knowledge of personal or business market products, product criteria and bank policy regarding appropriate pricing, charges and interest rates.
Knowledge and understanding of credit behavioural scoring and application systems, the granting process and risk management principles.
