Purpose

The Operations Management Development Programme gives the trainee a fast tracked introduction to store management. It provides store-based experience within any one of the different chains and is aimed at getting new entrants into their first retail management position. As a trainee on this programme you will be developed in store operations; managing people; self-management and merchandise management

Qualification

Completed NQF level 4 or 3yrs completed National Diploma or Degree in retail management/Busines Management or Similar qualification.

Purpose

To attend to calls received from Trade Partners and customers ,
To perform telephonic credit vetting on contract applications received from Trade Partners,
To provide support to Trade Partners and customers related to the Customer Acquisition process and IT systems,
To resolve queries from Trade Partners and customers related to Referred and Declined applications
To resolve queries from Trade Partners and customers related to the activation of new subscribers onto the VSP billing system and Vodacom network,
To channel escalated queries through the correct channels as specified in the agreed Policies and Procedures
To provide Trade Partners and customers with detailed explanations of the outcome of their applications with specific reference to credit bureau information and application scorecard information
To ensure that all the Customer Acquisition service levels are attained through effective customer service, quality, professionalism and good product knowledge.

Qualification

Matric /Grade 12
1 year in a call centre environment – (essential)
3-6 months experience in Credit Vetting –(essential)
Experience in a cellular call centre environment – (desirable)

Purpose

The Merchant Development Programme in an 18 month theoretical and practical programme that offers 20 ambitious graduates the opportunity to join our world class merchandise environment. It will provide you with a platform to learn from top professionals in the industry and will equip you with the relevant tools to grow and develop your career in the Merchandising Environment
The program consists of 3 phases, with an assessment exam after each phase. You will need achieve 80% in order to progress further in the programme
The programme will provide you with a combination of on the job practical experience coupled with theoretical training and coaching
The MDP is an 18 month fixed term contract program. Candidates that are successful after the program will be afforded the opportunity to apply for various positions within the Merchandise area
The programme will commence in January 2013

Selection Criteria

Students who are currently completing their final year of their undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in the following faculties: Commerce (Economics, Business Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Retail Management, Procurement, Statistics). Have an accredited National Diploma or completing your final year in a National Diploma in Fashion Design; Textile and Garment Construction, Clothing / similar
Graduates with limited or no working experience
