Purpose

The purpose of this role is to direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in performing a variety of production operations aimed at achieving planned production targets and ensuring the effective use of available resources in a safe and sustainable manner.
Qualification
Serious contenders will have relevant Mining Degree/ B-Tech or Diploma coupled with at least 5 years relevant experience of which at least 2 years must have been in a supervisory level. Having achieved coal mining industry experience and knowledge of the SAP system is an essential requirement for further consideration. Having a Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency will be desirable for this role.
