The position is within the Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU). The Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit was formed in 2007. It is a world leader in providing IT solutions to the financial services industry. Oracle is the world’s largest enterprise software vendor with 286,000 global customers and USD 22.4 billion in revenue. Oracle’s customers include ten of the top ten global banks, ten of the top ten insurance companies, ten of the top ten securities firms, five of the top five mutual fund companies and four of the top five World stock exchanges.
This person will carry an allocated ‘Sales Quota’ for the Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit offerings, for the assigned accounts in the territory. This individual will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle’s success in this product family (applications). Given our sole focus on the Financial Services industry, it is essential that this individual have experience in selling application and technology solutions to the Financial Services market space in the territory.
This person will be responsible ensuring local success implementing the FSGBU Sales Strategy. Additionally, this person will roll out an effective sales enablement mechanism in order to maximize pipeline growth. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, this person will be directly involved in our most strategic early deals in each region, to maximize our early success and build and expand a strong base of global reference clients. As such, this individual will need to have a very “evangelical” approach to selling and building capabilities as opposed to a purely operational focus.
7-10 years minimum sales or sales management experience selling enterprise-class applications in the Financial Services industry, especially to the TOP 15 Ranked Banks (by asset) in the region
Pre established Relationships with CXO’s in at least 5 out of the Top 15 Banks in the region, is essential for this role.
Proof of prior deals done with at least 5 out of the Top 15 Banks in the region, is essential for the role
Comfort in interacting with senior-level executives in IT, Risk, Finance at leading financial institutions
